About Pau Marinello

Pau Marinello (b. 1990, Barcelona) is a visual artist, painter, and educator whose work bridges classical technique and contemporary expression. Trained at the academies of art in Florence and Barcelona, he has spent more than a decade exploring the graphic representation of the human figure through charcoal, ink, and oil — works that balance rigorous structure with spontaneity and raw emotion.

Former director of the drawing program at the Barcelona Academy of Art, he has taught for over ten years across academy and university programs, as well as workshops around the world. His practice extends to murals, commissions, and international exhibitions, with work shown at the European Museum of Modern Art (MEAM) in Barcelona, Hamra in Beirut, and Schloss Wiespach in Austria, among others.
